Toni Gardemeister is an international rally driver. In forthcoming weekend he can be seen behind the steering wheel of his own BMW M3 rally car in Finnish Rally Championship event at Kouvola. However Gardemeister does not participate into competition as he’s working for the organizers by being their VIP driver just few minutes before first rally car.

Keski-Uusimaa Finnish Rally Championship event is fifth event for season 2007. Headquarters and service area are located in the city of Kerava. Drivers tackle thru seven special stages to measure their skills behind the steering wheel of their rally cars. VIP-driver Toni Gardemeister promises to offer very fast paced rallying experience for organizers VIP.

– WRC is now on its’ summer brake. It’ll end on first weekend of August in WRC Finland. The break will definitely come in handy for the drivers who have rallied all eight WRC events. Because in present season I’ve rallied quite selectively I’m happy for gaining this possibility to rally as other WRC drivers are enjoying their summer break, told Gardemeister before his season national debut rally.

– I have an joy and honor to rally as VIP-car in Keski-Uusimaa Finnish Rally Championship event. I’ll promose to offer an experience of their lifetime for VIP-guests. I don’t know who I am going to transit in special stages. I only know that a famous young finnish rap star (Pikku-G) is going to be seated by my side. I think I’ll be having a good touch for drawing driving lines for Finnish Rally Championship drivers, humorised Gardemeister.

Victorers for fanclub competitions

Due new website layout and content has Toni Gardmeister offered a competition for his rally fans. The only thing the fan had to do was to submit a Toni Gardemeister subjected foto for him. There were altogether 22 competitions entered for this event. Toni wanted to give trophies for three top drivers.

And the winners are Japanise Tadahiro Tamura, Swedish Marcus Strand and Finnish Marko Kähkönen. Congratulations for all winners!

Lyhyt esittely

Olen toisen sukupolven ralliautoilija. Vuonna 1975 synnyin moottoriurheiluperheeseen ja kasvoin pihapiirissä, joka oli ympäröity kilpa-ajoneuvoilla. Isäni autourheiluharrastus alkoi vuonna 1970 ja sen myötä vauhti on tullut ikään kuin perintönä.

Ammattilaisuran jälkeen Toni toimii mm. ajokouluttajana ja mentoroi uusia rallilupauksia sekä toimii Jari-Matti Latvalan etuautokuljettajana.
